I have a classic yacht that was in need of some major restoration. I had planned on doing it myself over the years but due to life changes I decided to have it done by a boatyard. But in order to have a yard do the work I needed to have my vision for the yacht to be able to be interpreted by others. This is where Jon came in. He was extremely helpful. We went through the boat, bow to stern and he took down all that I said, gave great suggestions and ideal solutions to problems or uncertainties, some that I didn’t even realise existed. After a few days Jon presented me with a very detailed specification list that was very comprehensive and easily understood by the yard. He is available for when the yard has any questions and is an excellent source for any information regarding refits and restorations. I definitely recommend working with J.R. Cook Marine Ltd.
